Norris Raider
One Touch Of Nature Makes The Whole World Kin
William Shakespeare
Hailing from the coast of East Anglia where he trained as a sign-writing artist, Norris was surrounded by like-minded renegades who were integral in the birth of the rave and drum and bass scenes throughout the world. This impeccable taste and innovation has always made him two steps ahead of the bandwagon pumping away on his own cart singing songs of hope and freedom.
Norris Raider Facts
Numbers Speak For Themselves
With decades of experience in the underground music world Norris Raider has always been a silent influence and inspiration amongst those in the know.
When he’s not in the studio cranking it up on the 303, Norris spends his days as a landscape gardener contemplating the eternity of nature and trying to assist its longevity. His off-kilter views of the planet come to fruition in the designs of the gardens he works on, which are always attended to with the same attention to detail that he applies to everything he lays his hands on.
In a former incarnation of Norris’ persona he founded and ran a merchandise company from his south London flat called the Big Shoe Corp, whose name came from a Big Issue sellers sales pitch in Brixton station. The company made and designed urban street wear which featured a variety of subjects ranging from breakdancers to lunar modules. They once nearly gave the CEO of Dunlop a cardiac arrest when they performed an autopsy on a Green Flash tennis shoe and then fixed flat-packed bloody remains on a trendy London galleries wall.
